Firmware

If you are having issues with the USB Mirroring feature functioning properly, the below firmware download will fix the issue.

Note: Software is not interchangeable between models. Please do not attempt this update on any other model then the CM7MIR

Download File: CM7MIR Firmware

How to Update:

  1. Download the firmware file from the link above.
  2. Unzip the downloaded file. (NOTE: To unzip the file, the program WINRAR is required and can be downloaded from this link: https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm)
  3. Copy the S361T.abs file to an empty USB Thumb Drive formatted to FAT32.
  4. With the vehicle Off, insert the USB Thumb Drive with the updated firmware into the CM701MIR USB Port.
  5. Turn the vehicle On, press the Home icon in the top left corner of the screen, and select USB Mirroring from the main screen. You will see the current software version towards the bottom in the middle of the screen (S361TC8HV042VW). The update is performed automatically
  6. When the message PLS reboot! Is displayed, turn the vehicle Off and remove the USB thumb drive. The update is now complete. The updated software version will now read (S361TC8HV043VW).
  7. The radio is now ready to use the USB Mirroring feature
